Rev. Cassandra L. Wood, JD, MA, M.Div.
Cassandra believes that spiritual transformation is a result of Scripture meditation. For that reason, she has dedicated the second half of her life to the creative dissemination of the Holy Scriptures through producing and recording Scripture narration set to a musical background. Her current project, Pondering the Psalms: Musical Meditative Moments, is an album of nineteen (and counting) recordings. Before answering her call to be a spoken Word recording artist, Cassandra worked as a health-care chaplain. She is ordained and commissioned by the Federation of Christian Ministries. During her first half of life, Cassandra practiced law in Baltimore, Maryland for over 25 years.
Cassandra holds a Maryland law license, a JD from the University of Maryland Law School, a MA (Christian Ministry) and M.Div. from Liberty University Rawlings School of Divinity), and six units of clinical pastoral education (CPE).
She lives in Tampa, Florida. She enjoys traveling, listening to music and existing in joy/peace/gratitude.
I am a member of “. . . a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession. I declare the praises of Him who called me out of darkness into His marvelous light. . .” and I offer “spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Y’shuah HaMashiach.” 1 Peter 2: 5-9.
