Rev. Cassandra L. Wood, JD, MA, M.Div.
I believe that spiritual transformation is a result of Scripture meditation. Y’Shua said, “Abide in Me, and I in you. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” (John 15: 4, 7, NKJV). Scripture also states, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” (Colossians 3:16, NKJV).
To that end, I have dedicated the second half of my life to the creative dissemination of the Holy Scriptures through producing and recording Scripture narration set to a musical background. I have a passionate desire that people would digest and meditate on the Word of God in various ways, be it reading or listening. Before becoming a spoken Word narrator, I worked as a health-care chaplain. I am ordained and commissioned by the Federation of Christian Ministries. During the first half of my life, I practiced law in Baltimore, Maryland for over 25 years. I hold a Maryland law license, a JD from the University of Maryland Law School, a MA (Christian Ministry) and M.Div. from Liberty University Rawlings School of Divinity), and six units of clinical pastoral education (CPE). I live in Tampa, Florida and enjoy traveling, listening to music and existing in joy/peace/gratitude.
I am a member of “. . . a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession. I declare the praises of Him who called me out of darkness into His marvelous light. . .” and I offer “spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Y’shua HaMashiach.” 1 Peter 2: 5-9.
