My name is Chaplain Cassandra. I produce and create the Scripture meditation posts and videos at ScriptureMeditation.net. I consider it a privilege and a joy to work as a servant of Yĕhowshuwa`, publishing Scripture meditation videos, posts, and sound recordings for whoever has ears to hear and eyes to see.
We are spiritual beings on a human journey, rather than human beings on a spiritual journey. Throughout my human journey, I have experienced life as a true renaissance woman. I have had multiple blessings coupled with multiple sorrows. First and foremost, I had the blessing of being married to Robert T. Wood, Jr. (Bobby). During our 36 years together, we ascended mountains, descended into valleys, and lived on level plains. On November 11, 2017, the Lord took Bobby away to our eternal home. I miss Bobby. A lot.
I have the double blessing of being a mother and grandmother. Bobby and I raised three children (Jared, Susan & Stefanie). We are also blessed with three precious grandchildren (Jordyn, Noah & Ethan).
Along my human journey, I have served Yĕhowshuwa` as a minister, teacher, usher, church administrator, newsletter writer and editor, and Bible School director. I also practiced law in Maryland for 26 years.
That was all Chapter One of my life. 2018 marks Chapter Two: a new beginning and a new season has begun.
Chaplain Cassandra is an ordained chaplain. Currently, she works at a hospital in Tampa, Florida as a Chaplain Resident. She has a M.A. in Christian Ministry and a J.D. from the University of Maryland Law School.
*Yĕhowshuwa` means: Yehovah is Salvation. Yĕhowshuwa` is the Hebrew transliteration of Jesus. See Matthew 1:21 , “You shall call His name Yĕhowshuwa`, for He will save His people from their sins.”.
