“I wish the world was truly happy, living as one. I wish the word they call freedom, some day would come, some day would come.” (lyrics from the song, “Zoom” by the Commodores).
Interesting Facts About Myself:
I love to travel and see new places. Recently, I traveled to Paris, Italy and the Greek Isles. My favorite place was a lunch and wine-tasting at Fattoria Il Poggio in Tuscany.
I love to center myself by practicing the sacred Yahweh Prayer. Simply inhale, silently mouthing “Yah”, then exhale, silently mouthing “weh”. Practicing this several times daily will change your life.
I love my three adult children (Jared, Susan and Stefanie), my three grandchildren (Jordyn, Noah and Ethan), my two cats (Kenny and Slinky), riding my bike along beautiful paths, and gazing at trees and seas.
What I Do:
I produce and create the Scripture meditation posts and videos at ScriptureMeditation.net. I also work as a Spiritual Care Coordinator and chaplain in Florida.
Why I Do What I Do:
I believe that “Every scripture is inspired by God. . .” (2 Timothy 3:16, NET). My objective is to creatively share the Scriptures for those who like to think about, i.e., meditate on one verse at time…to “taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8).
Also, I desire to live out my beliefs by serving my King in the Kingdom of God. I am God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for good works, prepared in advance for me to do. (paraphrase of Ephesians 2:10).
