A Special Grace – 4 Years Later

Four years ago, on November 11, 2017, my husband of 36 years went home to be with the Lord. He was a gentle man, the kindest man I have ever known. Bobby, you made it. I look forward to seeing you again. I will never forget you, my friend.

A Special Grace

Oh, the complexities of grief
I lament, I cry deep tears of sorrow
Yet, I hope
and have faith for an eternal tomorrow
I am sad, my head is hung down
Yet, I laugh,
And share joy all around
Yes, I can grieve and still have faith
Yes, I do grieve,
For I have been given
A Special Grace
A special grace which dries my tears
When I cry aloud
A special grace which seals my heart
That lets me know we are not apart
A Special Grace
Given to me from above
A Special Grace
That lets me know
That I am loved.

Through the Pain: A Lamentation

Through  the Pain: A Lamentation

For the sun is always shining in the rain

And the LORD is always guiding . . . through the pain

Why are you cast down, O my soul?

Hope in God.

For His anger lasts only a moment

But His favor lasts a lifetime.

Weeping may endure for a night

But joy comes in the  morning.

For the sun is always shining in the rain

And the LORD is always guiding . .. . through the pain
