Majestic

O  LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name

in all the earth!

Respond to the Lord by offering a “thank you” to Him for His omniscience and  omnipresence throughout the earth.

God Owns The World

For every wild animal in the forest belongs to Me,

as well as the cattle that graze on a thousand hills.

I keep track of every bird in the hills,

and the insects of the field are  mine.

Even if I were hungry, I would not tell you,

for the world and all it contains

belong to Me.

The Earth is the LORD’s

The earth is the LORD’s and all its fullness, the world and those who

dwell therein. For He has founded it upon the seas,

and established it upon the waters.

Re-read the text. Think about it for a few minutes. Have you acknowledged that the owner and founder of the earth is the LORD?

Respond to the Lord by thanking Him for establishing the earth, the sky, the sea…indeed, you and me!

Give The Lord a “Yet” Praise

Read

  Psalms 42:11 (NIV)

Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God,     for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.

Re-read the text. Think about it for a few minutes. Have you praised the LORD today in spite of the circumstances?

Respond

Respond to the Lord by yet praising Him, by yet putting your hope in Him . . .even though your soul is sad for the moment. Wait and see what happens when you do this.

Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.

Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.

For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.
